48 hour bird egg…eating, caring, etc…?

So, you may have seen my last question about how i found a bird egg, that i do not know if it it a Robin or a Greckel. yes, i suppose you have, if not, well, then, keep reading. So, i have been incubating this egg for about 48 hours now. I DO know that it is ALIVE and growing. The egg has gotten a bit bigger since i last measured it (the day we found the egg). There were no birds nest around, not up in the short trees we have here…no where! the closest nest in in my backyard, in my BBQ pit, but i have been watching that nest since it was being built. there were 5 eggs the day before they hatched, and about 3 minutes after they all had hatched, i went outside and counted the chicks…and still 5! i know that i didnt miscount the # of eggs, there have only been 5, and no more, no less, since!
i have been rotating the egg regularly, and monitoring the size, and heat of the incubator…
my question is what i should do to prepair for the hatch.
once it hatches, its going to be hungry, right? so what do i feed it? i own 3 birds of my own, but, anyways, should i feed it parakeet fod for the first few “whiles”. i wont be keeping it as a pet, i am going to care for it until it opens its eyes, then its straight the ASPCA.
here are all my questions-
•what should i feed it after it hatches?
•BEFORE it hatches, what should i put it in? should i place it in a box, then back on the heating pad?
•what should i do to prepare for the hatch?
•do i need to find worms? or can i buy them from the fishing section at wal-mart?
•how many times do i need to feed it?
•what are good signs of health that i should be looking for?
•REMEBER, ITS A ROBIN EGG, WHAT ARE SOME THINGS THAT I SHOULD MAKE SURE THAT THE CHICK DOESNT HAVE?
thnkx soooo much! ?
btw, i do know that it is alive, i have tested it. and that was a visual account, im not sure that it has gotten bigger. please do not try to mock my intelligence.

I just found a baby bird dying outside?

I just found a baby bird dying outside?
I was outside this morning just before school (im only 14) and I saw my cat playing with something. I went up to find that it was a baby bird and my cat was playing with it. It seems extremely hurt. The wings seem completely torn apart, but I don’t know much about birds so it could be just how they are since they are vry consecutive on both sides. BUt anyways, its justa baby and it cant fly. I don’t know what to do. I’m at school now but I can’t keep this out of my head. I can probably call my dad with directions on what to do, but i dont know how he will respond, because he doesnt like animals as much as i do. my dad suggested that i put it near a bush, close to a tree in case its mmother comes or something. im just really upset. what can i do/what should i do?

What can I feed a baby orphaned bird and how do I feed it?

Orphaned bird found, not sure what kind of bird it is, 90% covered with feathers, not injured but was covered with fire ants when found
what happen if it doesn’t even want to open its mouth?

what do you do when you find a bird egg slightly cracked?

Hurt bird leg?

One of my zebra finches was born with a deformed leg.
This morning I found him stuck to the side of the cage, with his nail making him unable to move.
I helped him get out of the position (he was probably like that all night) & now he looks tired.
Should I be worried?
What should I do?

Can I move a baby bird that is out of its nest?

I found a baby bird in my backyard. It has feathers and I think it’s a fledgling. I have 3 dogs and I don’t want it in my yard because they’ll kill it. I don’t think it’s hurt but it can’t fly and hasn’t really been hopping or moving around. There are a lot of trees in my yard and my neighbors’ yards and I don’t know where the nest is. Would it be safe for me to move it somewhere else?

HELP! found baby bird…taking care of her?!?

ok me and my friend found a baby bird, it was under a tree and the nest was next to her. and she had 4 other birds around her, but they were dead. from the looks of it her mom was long gone.
we have her in a cardboard box with warm water bottles with a towel over them. and we’ve been feeding her this baby bird food that you squirt into her mouth…this all happend a cpl hours ago…but we dont know what to do now.
she seems pretty young, she has feathers everywhere but her back and stomach…which is still pink.

Why is this bird trying to get into my house? This bird for days has gone from the front of my house?

to the back of the house hitting the window & won’t go away!! He will disappear for a couple hrs during the day,but always returns. He is making a mess of my windows-what to do? And more important why?
I would pull some blinds but its at the top of a big rounded window in the dining room which doesn’t have blinds.
I have a dog inside that barks alot but that is it.
