Runts, all alone, do they need help?

first off i just want to say that i ask waaay to many questions on here instead of giving them. heres the deal. i have a birds nest in my backyard BBQ nd there are a total of 5 chicks in the nest. the mother comes and feeds all of them…but she always feeds two of these chicks last. she first pulls them out of the nest, sets them down, feeds the 3, then after they are full, she then feeds the 2 chicks with the last bits she has left. these birds are Robins by the way. anyways, should i help these 2 birds and take them to the ASPCA, or should i just not do anything? i know how to care for chicks since i used to raise baby parakeets…so, should i?
please help!
thankx
btw the whole “touch a baby bird and its mother will reject them” is a wise tail. birds actually have a bad sense of smell. your friend (answer number 1) probably fed them wrong. if you make a wrong move, you can drown them…

You should just let nature take its course. If you take them away from their mother then they probably wont survive. Just let them be, Dont touch or feed them!!!!!!!!!! If you touch or feed them then their mother WILL reject them and they will die. The same thing happened to my freinds and they fed the babies, the next week they came back and they were dead.
Wait a bit longer and watch how they go. Don’t take them in unless it’s absolutely necessary, as this has a chance of making them unable to adapt to wild living again.
If the mother stops caring for them altogether(stops feeding, maybe even leaving them out of the nest) then it’s time to save them. BUT don’t take them to the SPCA! They will only put them down. Look for a rescue center or sanctuary in your area.
