Why do people give wrong advice?

I have been reading through all the different questions and advice about what to do if you find a baby bird. Please if you do not know 100% what to do then please don’t answer, you could be killing the baby bird.

1. Leave it alone unless it is in danger (cat or dog)
2. If you must move place in box & keep warm.
3. Call a licensed Wild Life rehabber.
4. Never, Never try and feed yourself
5. Vets, non-emergency police can give you number for rehabbers in your area.

I found a bird, what kind is it?

I found a baby bird in my backyard, and want to help raise it. It has little feathers, and its skin is very pale. It’s beak has a yellowish-greenish tint to it, and the feathers and eyelids are black. It has several long white hairs over its torso. Please help identify!!!!

I found A broken egg out of nowhere in my backyard what do I do?

I was in my backyard and I went to go get my dogs some water near their big bowl I saw a white egg with brown spots and it was broken. Inside you could see a dead baby bird it looked like the end of the egg was smashed. The egg was under my roof a bit, but when I checked for a nest there was not a thing. I just want to know what happened to the poor thing someone plzzz help me.

Baby bird! Please help?

There is a baby bird around my house, and it could could fit in my two hands put together. My mom let me call the spca, but then said i couldn’t go further because it wasn’t an “emergency” I have a feeling the bird is not gonna make it because there is no other birds! It’s hopping around and comes near me, but i don’t touch it! What do i do? Should i call the emergency line? pleasee help.

Our cat was found playing with a baby bird,so we brought him inside and fed him some sugared water as emergency food but now we don’t know what to use as a regular diet for Freddy the blackbird.

Baby Bird In My Backyard?

Their is a baby bird in my backyard and I waited a day but the mother did not come back so I started feeding it little tiny slices of grapes and worms. It looks like it is getting stronger but I do not know what else to do!! Is their anything else I could feed it or where should I put it? Right now it is just sitting in my backyard because my mom will no let me bring it in. Please Help!!!!

Emergency bird situation. Can you help?

Tiny baby bird brought home by my cat. No obvious injuries. My vet’s office is closed today. Emergency vet said all they do with wild birds is euthanize them.
