Do Democrats Think about Legislation they Propose?

Last month, Senator Barbara Boxer pushed legislation through her committee that would give EPA bureaucrats in Washington the power to regulate any land containing a pond, puddle, or occasionally wet area that a bird could land on…including your backyard pool, bird bath, or driveway ditch.

Do you think the EPA should be in your backyard or your neighbors to insure the puddle is still there after it rains? Even if it becomes infested with mosquitoes? And if you put stuff in their to kill the mosquitoes and you kill a bird or two by accident are you going to be hauled off and jailed or given a million dollar fine?

BIRD EMERGENCY! PLEASE HELP?

please help last night my female cockateil seems to have hurt her blood wing. Checking it this morining the blood has dried i noted that she is still grooming around the area and allowing me to check it, i am wondering if it just like a child who cuts there knee slightly, it hurts but won’t get infected… it is probably 8 or 9 mills long and only 2 mills high and not that deep. should i consolt my vet or leave it make sure she is using her bird bath to help cease infections??

What will attract more birds?

I am trying to attract different kinds of birds to my backyard- I seem to only get the usual sparrows, robins, chickadees and juncos. I want to attract some of the colorful finches we have in my area (pacific northwest usa). Is there anything I can hang in my tree (other than birdseed!) to attract a wider variety of birds? Right now we have two bird feeders and a bird bath. What else could we do?
I’m serious and I mean real birds. Give me a break.
