Is it possible she might bond with them and maybe even find a mate? She calls out to my backyard birds sometimes and seems interested in watching them.

Cockatiel Emergency?

Okay, my female Normal Grey cockatiels is acting hurt. My brother hurt her, and not she either has a broken or sprained foot! She only balances on one foot, and she lets the foot hover over the ground. And there are two or three little blood spots on her foot. We put flour on it to stop any more bleeding.

What can I do!?

The Avian Vet isn’t opened all week, and there aren’t any more Avian Vets in my state at all! What can I do???? This bird is really special to me!
The cut is where the leg bends, if that matters.

Cockatiel compatible bird species?

I have one male cockatiel and am getting him another bird. I’d like to get a different species. What kind of birds get along with cockatiels? I want something larger than a parakeet…Please list as many species compatible with cockatiels. Thanks!
I’m really just looking for a list of bird species that have been known to get along with cockatiels. I know how to introduce them, and the precautions. Please focus on just the question.

Is there an easy way to catch aviary birds?

We have an outdoor aviary with a cockatiel, and two budgies. Since it’s coming up on bushfire season, we’re making our usual emergency plans.

Can anyone suggest a way that we’d be able to get our birds from the aviary into a travel cage easily, and if necessary quickly?

I’ve already tried a lovebird and they arent very intelligent and dont like being handled too much. But i really liked cockatiels but im thinking about trying another species of bird that are like cockatiels. I’m looking for affectionate, at least somewhat intelligent, something about the size of a cockatiel
