This Northern Yellow-Shafted Flicker has been frequenting my yard Bird Feeders for the past few weeks. This is considered rare this time of year (FEBRUARY) in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Also: I live in an URBAN RESIDENTIAL Historic area just blocks away from Downtown Mt. Clemens. This is the first year I’ve ever seen this species here. … GREAT BACKYARD BIRD COUNT
