Squirrels take over two bird feeders in British Columbia Canada and are battling it out for prime seating. Mean while in the background, many different species of birds wait patiently for their turn to dine. The amount of activity that occurs around these two birdfeeders is astonishing. Some of the guests include, crows, steller’s jays, finches, starlings, chickadees, mice, rats, raccoons, possums, and they are all watched closely by two house cats.

Help, my bird feeders have been taken over by squirrels. How can I keep them out?
One feeder is standing on a pole and up they climb to get to the feeder. Have already tried WD-40 and vaseline on the pole. Didn’t work. The other one is hanging from a branch in a tree and they climb the tree, walk on the branch and down the feeder to eat. Bird seed is costly and they are driving me nuts.
Thanks in advance.
Best most amazing squirrel video HD! 5 incredibly friendly squirrels climbing/attacking James Graff

Watch the end!! 5 unbelievably friendly and incredible squirrels on High Definition video! Watch to the end!! Squirrels attacking and climbing me James Graff www.myspace.com www.JamesGraff.com and my pregnant girlfriend Liina (we didn’t find out until months later)!! For food! in HD high definition! (Help!!) One squirrel sits on my knee – then another starts climbing and clinging to Liina’s leg (Liina says “clinjing” – she mispronounces the g as a “j” – she speaks Estonian as a first language) At one point in this video I have two more squirrels on me – at the same time – one on each of my knees (you can’t really see this to well in the video). And then one of the squirrels climbs up my body onto my shoulder and puts his nose in my ear – I was pretty startled and frightened at that point because they move so fast! At some point in the video there are at least three beautiful birds and FIVE squirrels surrounding us – within a couple yard radius! These animals are obviously hand fed food way too often – either that or perhaps there is some kind of trouble – maybe the seals or rabies or something else entirely – that is causing thier unprecedented behavior. (As my friend said “Usually they scatter…”) You can see the elephant seals in a couple of the frames – I am trying to say in the video that perhaps all the attention that the elephant seals get made these animals jealous thereby explaining the unbelievably friendly and attention seeking behavior of these squirrels – and …
How to discourage squirrels from coming near my bird feeders?
I used to love having bird feeders when I lived in Colorado. However, once I found out a neighbor was feeding squirrels, I realized why they were eating all my bird seed. So I stopped putting it out because it would just end up in a big pile on the ground. Now I live in Kansas and am ready to try again. Any suggestions?
