Question by Andrei Kay: What can I do to attract wild birds to sunflower seeds on my office window sill?
The birds seem to ignore the seeds for quite a while now. What can I do to attract them without drawing my boss’ or colleagues’ attention?

That’s going to be tough for a couple reasons: most birds aren’t inclined to do much foraging on windowsills (windows may be unattractive to birds for a number of reasons including movement behind them or reflections on them depending on the angle of the sun); also, there very often isn’t any protective cover nearby, like trees or bushes right up against the building, so the birds are out in the open. The most likely birds you could expect to attract would be pigeons or other doves, and that is most likely going to take some time and luck. You could potentially increase the odds by using mixed seed and making a pile of it so it’s more visible.
